Program Information
About Regulatory Compliance
Regulatory Compliance assists your electric cooperative with adherence to complex federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. We provide on-site, on-going compliance support tailored to the needs of participating cooperatives. Available services include:
- Continuous tracking, interpretation, and response to new or proposed regulations. Management is provided with accurate, current regulatory information and comprehensive record-keeping.
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of targeted programs with training that addresses critical compliance issues. In addition, staff can assist your cooperative in regulatory agency inspections and associated actions or responses.
Participation in this fee-for-service program, in combination with other Statewide services, will improve compliance and risk management positions, reduce staff time devoted to regulatory issues, and lessen exposure to regulatory violations and litigation.
